How to lose weight is one of the most common questions asked by millions of people. Of course every one has their own reason or reasons for wanting to lose weight. They can range from health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease or they can just want to be hot, sexy and fit and tone. What ever the reason is getting to a sensible body weight is always a smart thing to do.
Their are many ways to exercise to lose pounds from jogging an hour or more every day, high intensity cardio routines and you can even combine these routines with resistance training as well.
If you are just starting to exercise it is always a good idea to check with your Doctor to make sure that you are able to begin an exercise program without jeopardizing your health. So if your Doctor gives you the ok it is always a good idea to start your program with a simple walking program.
Walking 60 minutes every day is a great way to start your journey to weight loss. Of course you would want to make sure you are getting into the famous fat burning zone to make sure your efforts are actually causing you to lose weight and that you are not just wasting your time.
Walking is always a good start and when you get past that you can get into a more intensive exercise program to really kick your weight loss into high gear.
Here is the routine for a more intense program:
Pick any type of cardiovascular exercise like running on a treadmill, pedaling a bike out doors or even a stationary bike inside. You can also jump rope, perform jumping jacks, burpees and so many other exercises.
After you pick your exercise you have to exercise like this - we will use a bicycle as an example in this article
Ride a bike for 30 to 60 seconds as fast and hard as you can that stop for 30 seconds to 2 minutes until you are able to breathe normally and your heart rate comes down quite a bit. Then ride the bike again as fast and as hard as you can for 30 seconds to 60 seconds and then rest once again for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Do this a couple more times and you have just completed a mega fat burning exercise routine.
Because this routine is so intense you have to allow your body time to rest and heal so only do this about 3 times a week and do not do them on consecutive days.
Now remember to follow a good balanced diet and your fat will melt off of your body.
