Cardiovascular Exercise Program Phase 1
If you are one of our clients and have been cleared by the Doctor
To begin Phase 1 of our Cardio Program
Follow the routine as outlined below:
Perform the Cardiovascular exercise the Doctor recommended for you.
For the first 4 weeks you want to perform the exercise 6 – 7 days a week at 65 % to 70% of your maximum heart rate. Your goal is to perform the exercise for 60 consecutive minutes. Because for the first 30 minutes of this exercise you will just be burning the sugar that is in your blood stream and from minute 31 on is when you are actually burning fat.
I recommend using your own personal heart rate monitor that you strap around your chest and the wrist watch displays your heart rate as opposed to using the monitors that are in the treadmill or other piece of equipment.
Please remember before doing this or any other exercise routine you must consult your Medical Doctor first and have the Doctor give you the OK to perform the exercise routine.
