The first thing to do when you are attending a party is to make sure that you are not starving when you get there. Try to have a nice healthy snack of meat chicken or fish and vegetables. This should keep your hunger and cravings of the way and will actually take up quite a bit of room in your stomach so that you will not be able to put much more food into your stomach.
When you get to the party, go for the vegetables right. The great thing about vegetables is that most of the time, the more vegetables you eat the skinnier you will be. Vegetables are very nutritious also very filling. So your body will not only be totally nourished; it will also be totally full.
Have some meat chicken or fish with your vegetables. These sources of protein will combine with the vegetables that you were eating and actually make a fantastic that burning meal.
Keep your hands occupied so that you're not always reaching for food. You can walk around holding a glass of seltzer water with lemon or lime for the entire event. For weight loss, it is always a good idea to hold on to a drink like this, as opposed to a pastry.
Try to avoid hanging out around areas where food is served. Get involved in the social function. If there is dancing go ahead and dance. Not only is dancing quite a bit of fun, it also burns a major amount of calories and therefore will assist you in losing weight and getting rid of your fat.
Remember, before you go to a party make a game plan and stick to it. Often times, weight loss is much more of a mental challenge, as opposed to a physical challenge.
So there you have it - a great way to continue with your weight loss program and enjoy the benefits of a fantastic party.
